Viewing the type of computer

The computer type is set when the computer is built, and cannot be changed through the RM Management Console.

The following computer types are available:

• Forest Root Domain Controller

• Domain Controller

• Member Server

• Desktop

• Laptop

• Tablet

To view the computer type

1. From the left-hand pane, expand Computers and choose All Computers.

2. From the right-hand pane, right-click the computer and from the menu, choose Properties.

3. Choose the General tab.

4. The 'Type of computer' field shows the computer type and associated icon.

5. Click OK.
