Creating shortcuts for applications that are not in the available list

If you want to add a shortcut to a program set which isn't available from the Shortcut Bank or an application package, you can search for the shortcut and add it directly to the program set.

To create shortcuts for applications that are not in the available list

  1. From the left-hand pane, expand Picture of the Software icon Software and choose Picture of the Program Sets icon Program Sets.

  2. From the right-hand pane, right-click the program set and from the menu, choose Properties.

  3. Choose the Shortcuts tab.

  4. In the Contents list, select a shortcut or a shortcut folder.

  5. To add shortcuts to the program set from Windows Explorer, click the Browse button. Browse to and select the shortcut you wish to add.

  6. Click OK. If you selected a folder in the Contents list, the new shortcut is created within that folder. If you selected a shortcut in the Contents list, the new shortcut is created in the same location as the selected shortcut.

  7. Click OK.

Notes

  • You can add shortcuts to the Shortcut Bank if you wish.

  • If there is already a shortcut with the same name within the selected folder, the existing shortcut is highlighted.

  • You can also drag-and-drop shortcuts from Windows Explorer into the Contents list.
