Saving a search as a smart-list

Saving your search results as a smart-list provides easy access to frequently-referenced data. When you access the smart-list the search is regenerated, providing access to the latest information.

To save your search as a smart-list

Having carried out a search, a Picture of the Search icon Search Results tree option appears in the left-hand pane.

  1. From the left-hand pane, right-click Picture of the Search icon Search Results and, from the menu, choose 'Save as Smart-List'.  

  2. Type a name for the smart-list.

  3. Select a location for the list.

  4. To allow other users to access your list, tick the 'Make Smart-List public' box.

  5. Click OK.

The list is added to the left-hand pane in the selected location.
