Starting a search

When you run a search in the RM Management Console, you build up your search criteria progressively: each choice you make provides further choices until the search criteria are complete.

To start a search

  1. From the Edit menu, choose Search.

  2. Select the option you want to search on, and work through the drop-down lists until you can enter your search text.

    For example, to find users with the name Andy:

  1. To start the search, click OK.

Notes

  • You can save your search as a smart-list. A list can then be added to your favourites.

  • Searching for users allows you to save the results to a CSV file (to export users).

  • To search on a selected folder, you can also choose Picture of the Search button in the toolbar.
