Deleting a user

Deleting a user will also delete all their folders (unless they are locked). Before deleting a user, make sure that the user is logged off.

To delete a user

  1. From the left-hand pane, expand Picture of the Users icon Users and choose All Users.

  2. From the right-hand pane, right-click the user and from the menu, choose Delete.

  3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Notes

  • You cannot delete the username for the user account you are logged into.

  • You can use the same process to delete multiple users in the same folder. First, select all of the users that you want to delete.

  • If you use Staff Subject Areas, and you delete Staff users, you must delete these users from their associated Staff Subject Areas. For more information on managing Staff Subject Areas, see Staff Subject Areas Help.

  • To delete a selected user, you can also choose Picture of the Delete button in the toolbar, or from the File menu choose Delete.
