Importing users

To create multiple users, you can import users from a file (CSV or TXT).

When you import users from a file, they retain all their current user properties. This saves time over creating a new users from scratch and then specifying all their user properties.

To import users

  2. On the 'Import updates...' window, select Users from the drop-down list, and click Next.

  3. In the Source File section, type the name of the file you want to import from. Alternatively, use the Browse button to find the file to import, and click Open.

  4. Depending on the format of the file to be imported, you may need to select a delimiter character for the imported data. You can select the TAB character, or specify your own single character.

  5. You can specify whether there are headers in the first row of the data to be imported by ticking the 'Data contains...' box.

  6. You can check the data to be imported in the Data Preview section.
