Access levels: overview

An access level manages access to the Internet by Web sites, IP addresses and port numbers.

Access levels have a name and a highlight colour. The highlight colour easily identifies which sections of the Internet timetable have a particular access level.

The access level 'Default Access' is always present in the drop-down list. This access level grants full Internet access, but it can be edited in the same way as any other access level except that the name and highlight colour (which is the same as the Internet timetable background colour) cannot be changed.

If you choose not to apply a specific access level to a time slot, the default access level will be used for that slot.

Note

  • Any changes you make to access levels will not take effect until you click the Apply button.
