The contents of each package depend on the package type. A Windows Installer package contains a main installation file and a transform file, whereas an EXE package only contains the installation executable file.
As well as viewing the contents of each package, you can set and edit command line arguments for the installation, uninstallation and upgrade of the package; for example, if you want to create a log file during the installation process, or perform a silent uninstall.
From the left-hand pane, expand Software, then expand
Packages & Products
and choose All Packages.
From the right-hand pane, right-click the package and from the menu, choose Properties.
Choose the Contents tab.
To specify command line arguments for the installation, uninstallation or upgrade of the package, type the argument(s) in the Command Line Arguments section.
To allow the package to be uninstalled from the computer, tick the 'Package can be uninstalled' box.
If a package must be uninstalled from a computer before a newer version can be installed, tick the 'Package must be uninstalled to upgrade...' box.
Click OK.
