Automatically allocating printer credits

You can choose to automatically allocate a number of printer credits to a user over a defined period, for example every week or month.

To automatically allocate printer credits

  1. From the left-hand pane expand Picture of the Users icon Users and choose All Users.

  2. From the right-hand pane, right-click the user and from the menu, choose Properties.

  3. Choose the Printer Credits tab.

  4. Select 'Automatically allocate printer credits', and from the drop-down list select the auto-allocation.

  5. Click OK.

Notes

  • The number of credits that a printed page costs is set in the Printer Properties, Printer Credits view.

  • You can use the same process to automatically allocate printer credits for multiple users. In step 2 choose all of the required users.

  • User properties are also available by selecting the user and choosing Picture of the Properties button in the toolbar, or from the File menu choosing Properties.
